Donna … Very cool guy in Groovy Sunglasses

He was the guy all considered hot
Maybe he was maybe not
His sunglasses were very cool
He wore them even in school
The girls gathered around in the hall
They certainly loved him best of all
He was quite aloof , words were few
But when he spoke the girls hearts flew
Into a frenzy beating so fast
Wishing the conversation would last
He could have had a date whenever he chose
With those cool sunglasses and awesome clothes
He was standoffish the girls would say
He just happened to be that way
One day he left school..no one knew why
He never came back and the girls cried
Rumors were told .. some were lies
No one ever really saw his eyes

Mel, Being Italian, my family lived in a predominately Italian
neighborhood and all the cool boys wore sunglasses and
were very silent..now that I think back…it was really very very
funny..and we all thought they were cool…Sally xxoo
