this is a refresh of something i drew when i was 16… and my girlfriend lived 3000 miles away… thankfully, 8 years later… this is not the case. (same girlfriend! same house! no longer 16!) // ...and best wishes to all of you who know that sense of longing. // some of my other work:

Don’t look for meaning.
Today I took Ty to the zoo…poor Ty couldn’t work out why he wasn’t allowed to have any fun…I mean why CAN’T you ride the Wallabies like a horse…or play with the Silverback Gorilla or even pat the Egyptian Cobra? I was able to get a few moments to snap some pictures and this was one of them. How amazing is this gorgeous creature? Ty refers to them as a Raf – and apart from the turtles (yes we went all the way to the zoo and he loved the turtles!!) they were his favourite animal. (c) Sarah Moore 2009
One of a series of small sections of natural objects, this abstract image is patterned on a high aerial view of a distant landscape. / (actually part of a tree trunk where the bark has been torn away. Weathered and attacked by insects)
A photographic image of a lone tree in a field. / / / /
As inspired by Adriana I’ve taken the first step outside my comfort zone – self portraits. #3 in “Imperfections” series. Canon EOS 450D : 1/50sec : f/2 : ISO640 : 50mm Photoshop : Blown Highlights and Toning. / Blur created in-camera.
....I can play too. Canon 450D + 50mm f/1.8
My sweet girl. ( 2 years old) saying she was a ladybug princess ( no wings) she didn’t like those. LOL Nov 09 – Featured in the group Family Unilimited /
At America. :)
Do you sometimes wonder why you test your patience the way you do? I know I do. I do know that I never want to see an eight pointed star hood.
Pretty little flower that was growing in the ruins of a slate mines work shop.
This is the song by “Bullet for my Valentine” that I have been hearing my teen play, over. And over. And over. On his electric guitar. For weeks now. Just as well I don’t find it objectionable. It blends in with all the other household noises after a while. Did I mention he’s saving for a louder amp? This is also a photo for the Canon Photo5 challenge (but due to server problems, this and my other entries may not be accepted). And yes, I took this with the lensbaby, thanks for asking. :)
This piece was made with my photos, a royalty-free image of a dress (that was altered significantly) and part of a free texture from Advanced Photoshop magazine. The title and image is partly inspired by a Tori Amos song off her album The Beekeeper with the same title.
A seaside daisy from my garden, taken using a lensbaby 2.0 and a heart shaped ring. If you look closely, the bokeh is ♥ shaped – isn’t that cute!
