A fantastic moody shot of London’s famous Tower Bridge. While it appears ancient, it is actually a product off Victorian engineering, a drawbridge with a pedestrian walkway across the top. It was built to compliment nearby Tower of London. This photo captures London’s moody skies with a splash of sunlight hitting the bridge itself.
I took this picture from my yard. We often have brilliant sunsets and sunrises such as this. This picture was taken in southern Arizona, USA.
After the James Blunt concert at Sydney Entertainment Quarter at mid-night, my friends decided to go and see the balloons in Canberra in the early morning. I drove to canberra in 4 hours and wow, so peaceful and energetic and the same time. Commonwealth Place, Canberra, Australia / 2006-04-15 4:52 AM – Yes the time is the key! One of my favorite photos that I have framed in my living room featuring a view from the south bank of the Thames River in London. This shows one of London’s most well known bridges, Tower Bridge. Although it appears ancient, this bridge is artwork itself. Built in the Victorian era, it is a drawbridge and pedestrian walkway that is a miracle of engineering. The stone facade mimics the nearby Tower of London.
A lovely image of red sumac in autumn, lightly silhoutted against a gorgeous blue and pink sky, with touches of green and purple in the distant low foliage. This is my favourite tree, a wind battered willow tree located on the banks of the River Stour between Flatford and Dedham in England, UK. This was taken about an hour after sunrise, just as the early morning mist was starting to burn off. Signed giclee art prints available at www.henroben.co.uk

Featured in “The Wild West Show” – June 2009. Rhyolite, Nevada is a ghost town just outside the boundary of Death Valley National Park. It was a town built on gold and the hopes and dreams that the precious metal inspires. Founded in 1904 and abandoned only 15 years later in 1919, it was a very short-lived community. Background Information: / Bryce Canyon National Park is a national park located in southwestern Utah in the United States. Contained within the park is Bryce Canyon. Despite its name, this is not actually a canyon, but rather a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to its geological structures, called hoodoos, formed from wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lakebed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views to visitors. This was taken in Little Lakes Valley, Eastern Sierras, Ca. I have submitted a few different photos from this hike and the lighting was just so intimate that I may just remember that day forever. This is the one furthest down the trail and closest to the mountains in the background. There are many meadows along the trail and they are usually very lush but by summer’s end they start to dry out like this. I thought it made for some nice contrast. You can see a little bit of the trail on the right leading into the pines.
Herringfleet Mill can be found where you might least expect to find it – about twenty yards on the Suffolk side of the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Given Norfolk’s monopoly on spectacular, well-preserved mills, it seems only fair that neighbouring Suffolk should have a few of its own…although it should be noted that even this mill is officially in the Norfolk Broads. This photograph was taken on an extremely February day. A 13 seconds’ exposure captured the movement of the clouds as they raced across the East Anglian sky. Canon EOS 5D and EF 16-35mm lens. Exposure of 13 seconds at f/22.

An early Autumn evening image of The Pap of Glencoe (Scottish Gaelic: Sgurr na Cìche), a mountain on the northern side of Glencoe. It lies at the western end of the Aonach Eagach ridge, directly above the point where the River Coe enters Loch Leven. The Pap has a distinctive conical shape particularly when viewed from the west, and forms part of the “classic” view of the entrance to Glencoe.
