Captured in Albury / Wadonga on the border of Victoria and NSW at the time when Victoria was in the grip of Bushfires. / ____ I would like to thank Arcangelina for being so very creative and kind by writing a poem inspired by this image! This is the sequel to The Approach It was captured at the same station in Shepparton, just facing in opposite directions! / Used a Sony Alpha with a 28 – 70mm in B&W mode. This intimate, bright yet dark, static yet flowing, autumn themed image was made in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA in October 2006. I like the contrast of the flowing water beneath the still branches, the pop of color from the remaining birch leaves, and the juxtaposition of the branch atop the stream in tone and color! /
