we’re not supposed to put art that still going on here but I still do sometimes, because I like something about it, where it is at the time, even though I can see more in it. So this is one. I like it now. I think I’ll like it when I further develop it. check it out for now.

alright ! the first featured member (one of five for at least the next five weeks) at Australian Native Plants group is … colin12. CONGRATULATIONS ! colin12 has only a couple of pages up at redbubble, but his images are mostly of terrestrial orchids, and strongly consistent at that; colin12 seems to be a very focused photograper. cut and paste the link ( http://www.redbubble.com/people/colin12 ) into your browser or click colin12’s icon on the Australian Native Plants overview page to view his images. hello Plant photograpers ! once again, it’s time to announce the next Featured Photographer at the Australian Native Plants Group. you will remember colin12’s images of far flung terrestrial orchids, wildflowers and fungi. then the selection went to Dennis Gay IPA whose experience shooting orchids, wildflowers, fungi and numerous aspects of life on this island he presents to us all as cherishable moments. again, too, it might seem that my appreciation for orchids is the bias by which i select the featured photographers; this is not really the case, what i’m looking for is focus (general, broad-ranging and/or special, concentrated) on [a particular of] / Australian Flora … besides, i still have about three hundred members’ profiles to go through : ) the Third Featured Photographer at ANP for at least the next five weeks, is Stuart Rose. CONGRATULATIONS, Stuart ! Stuart Rose’s pages at RedBubble are almost exclusively, to this point, dedicated to Australian terrestrial orchids, shot in the wild as he’s found them. cut and paste the link ( http://www.redbubble.com/people/forestfinger) into your browser or click Stuart Rose’s Featured Artist icon on the Australian Native Plant Group overview page to view his images. If you are interested in taking a Sunday walk with your camera, I will be at the Wittunga Botanic Gardens tomorrow (Sunday, 28.June.2009) from midday till late afternoon. The gardens are great for photography of flowers, bees, ducks, magpies, crows, humans, plus many different South African plants that are often mistaken for South Australian. If you are interested, bring your macro lens and lightest-tripod! Meet you near the Rotunda that can be seen near the lake as you enter thru the left entrance. I’ll be wearing a warm woollen beanie (and carrying a blue rain-coat) and wielding a camera! Where? Shepherd’s Hill Road, Blackwood
