I brought the cowboy, moon, trees and pond together just for fun. There’s a certain feeling a cowboy has when he is in the wilderness with just his horse and the sounds of crickets, a light breeze and a slow moving stream.

Ink drawing on paper. One for the kiddies…. The first step into the forest was the worst step for Seth O’Share / It was a very dark, cold night when this clueless kid ventured in there… / The trouble was he couldn’t see, he had no torch that could be lit, / As soon as he made that first step he fell into a bottomless pit.

This work was featured in Shoot To The Moon and Back In Black 100% Photoshop. / I like this, reminds me of something Tim Burton might approve of.

Inspired by ‘Rock’ after the beautiful lyrics (below) that he left on my previous image of Moonstone. Thank you Rock!! :) Well it’s a marvelous night for a moondance / With the stars up above in your eyes / A fantabulous night to make romance / ‘neath the color of October skies. / And all the leaves on the trees are falling / To the sound of the breezes that blow / And I’m trying to please to the calling / Of your heartstrings that play soft and low. You know the nights magic, seems to whisper and hush, / You know the soft moonlight, seem to shine-In your blush / Can I just have one more moondance with you-my love? / Can I just make some more romance with you-my love? Well I wanna make love to you tonight, / I can’t wait till the morning has come / And I know now the time is just right, / and straight into my arms you will run. / And when you come my heart will be waiting, / to make sure that you’re never alone / There and then all my dreams will come true dear, / There and then I will make you my own.

Landscape – Me Model – Me Model image by the lovely Barssel Moon Bathe Am I the only one to see? / Things are not as sure as they should be / I seem to have my flag unfurled / As Black & White in a grey, gray world / But there is peace & there is quiet / In this vast land of nite! This is a composite of about a half dozen images. The foreground is the surface of an avocado, the sky texture is a macro shot of a dirty old feather duster and the idol I found in the backstreets of Fitzroy.

A fun little HDR plus conventional image. Description for DAC: Shot three identical background sky and tree images with one stop over, one stop on, and one stop under in exposure. I then duplicated the final HDR image in the PS Layers palette. I also added the Flood effect with my Flaming Pear plugin. Next, I plonked my red moon in-between the two layers, and took the copy layer down to 69%. Then, I dragged the copy layer sideways using ‘scale,’ and made the copy layer jut out a little from the original layer, creating a sort of ‘ghost image.’ Then, I just added Little Boat, flooded that image, flattened the image, and saved it ;-) And here it is..
