I Love Me as a greeting card design!! =D / In the background is the kanji “ai”, 爱 meaning love.. n_n” There are some of us, who took it upon ourselves to do things for others. to help others.. to make others happy.. but we forgot about ourselves! we forgot that we need to make ourselves happy too. we need to love ourselves too. if we don’t love ourselves, who’ll love us? i dedicate this to every one of you kind souls out there!! remember to always love yourself as well!! =D i especially thank Karin who kept reminding me that i am love-able as well. bad history and with the kind of people i’m surrounded by, i was made to believe that nobody will love me for everything that i am. am made to realise all my faults and bad points and weaknesses. made to believe am ugly and useless. having depression doesn’t help as i view myself as nothing more than a mental girl. i totally believe that it’s impossible for anyone to really love me. But Karin showed me otherwise. she made me answer and admit my pretty gd points.. and i realised.. hey!! i can be love-able?! am still trying to accept that now.. lolz.. it’s still kinda hard to accept, having been instilled those “i sux!” mindset for years… ahahahah.. XD Thank you, Karin!! GLOMPZ!!! fa: i had to force Tim to carry that signage cos he wouldn’t say the words!! stupid monster.. / Tim: it says I Love Me!! how can you love yourself!! you’re big, fat, ugly and you’re mental with me in your head!! / fa: awww.. i can love you too, can’t i~ XD / Tim: NOOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously doubt that anybody is going to buy a grainy card, poster or print of ugly old me but I nevertheless wanted to share this work with you. ;) / It’s one of those works that in real life gets tons of reactions when people see it hanging on our wall. I’m curious to see whether it will provoke any reactions here on this wonderful art community. In truth, this is only half the artwork. The other half has agreed to being upload to redbubble too, so, here she is: Showcased in Pay it Forward after a nomination by picketty because: / °°° / I have to nominate this fine work as my all time favourite because it has imprinted itself on my memory. I love the subtle colour treatment and the way the image halts me in my tracks. There are so many beautiful images, I have pages of favourite,... . but for me this is the most memorable. / °°° / Many thanks for this gigantic compliment!

My new wolf friend was determined to teach me how to howl after our shared lunch. He very “tenderly” took half of my sandwich from my offering hand with his mouth, lay it down on the ground and ate it layer by layer, slowly and savoringly, unlike my dog River, who would ALWAYS “wolf down” whatever is offered to her! :) So now he set out, just a few feet away, raised one front leg a tiny bit for emphasis and howled. I got down on all fours, copied the posture and did the same. Obviously he was a little dissatisfied with my learning so he repeated the whole thing another time.
