Oil Pastel and Acrylic Ophelia dreamed she was on a journey to a foreign land. In that land, she encountered an exotic purple flower with 3 petals. Though strange in appearance,it had the most calming and relaxing scent Ophelia has ever known. Ophelia was most reluctant to leave this flower and its’ scent when she knew her dream odyssey had to come to an end soon. I am returning on Mission to the remote villages in Nigeria on 15th November – 16th December. As I was looking through the Charity Mission notes over the past year, I was reminded that in Tunga/Zuga, Ungwa/Fada, Kaban and Quo Vita Villages in very remote areas, there are 56 blind villagers, which include 28 children. river blindness and catteracts cause most blindness here. James lives in Tunga-Zuga an isolated village in Kebbe State. Nigeria. AS I sat and listened to him sing Jesus Loves me, I realised that although he is physically blind, he can see through eyes of faith. I wrote this verse for James and I dedicate it to all those children I have met who are Blind. “In my world of darkness there is light, / I see my Jesus through eyes of faith, / what these natural eyes cannot see, / my eyes of faith reveal all to me”. ALL MONEY RAISED FROM SALE OF MY ART, DONATED ART AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP THESE PRECIOUS CHILDREN. WE TAKE NOTHING OUT OF WHAT YOU GIVE TOWARDS CHARITY OVERHEADS. I was wondering about at a zoo.. So many things I saw were new. I came upon this fellow you see. He was looking at a place across the sea.. I stood there staring at his face.
