  • Tropical Cauldron
    by DawsonImages

    US$5.82–US$133.00

A large formation of Lava rock off the coast of Kihei on Maui, Hawaii turned into a boiling sinking cauldron by the rising tides flowing in from above and below. The water level on this cauldron would rise and fall as much as 6 feet with the ebb and flow of the waves. I was fascinated by this marvel of nature and creation.

  • Sailing and sunset

    US$6.65–US$152.00

    Old sailboat and sunset

  • Full to the Brim

  • Blue Wave Sunset
    by ShaneMartin

    US$4.99–US$114.00

    Digital Airbrush Painting

  • I shot this at G-Land, South-East Java, Indonesia in 1999. This image won me “Best Lifestyle Shot” award, Surfing World Magazine, 2003/04.

  • It is a rare occasion when there is no wind blowing the palms, and there are enough clouds over the ocean to create a dramatic sunset at this location. I spent a week’s worth of evenings in this area before the conditions set up perfectly. Technically this is a series of 5 long exposures layered. I was using a 10mm lens on my little Canon XTi. It worked. This beach is in an area where there will soon be plenty of new construction, sadly. The “old” Maui is slipping away, and it breaks my heart. I hope images like this will preserve the pristine flavor for future generations.

Through the limitless lands and times / Through the incountable stars / You are gazing at me I look up towards thee! / All noise ceased in silence / All worlds absorbed in deep peace / Alone / You are! / Alone / I am within, fearless!” ~ Poetry and Songs by Rabindranath Tagore

  • Maluaka Glow, Makena Maui
    by RandyJayBraun

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Maluaka is a place on Maui where there is a comforting daily cloud cover reaching out from the high slopes of Mt. Haleakala and extending toward the island of Kaho’olawe . Without this protective cloud, the scorching equatorial sun would be relentless. I noticed this sunset beginning to happen, and I grabbed my gear and sprinted to the rocky Maluaka coastline just in time to make a nice capture.

  • West of here
    by Louise Cooke

    US$4.66–US$106.40

Sunset and Coronas at “The Shack”, West Island, Cocos Islands. The kind of sunset you want to swim through – pastel water and sky – chasing the sun west.

  • First Light on Hana, Maui
    by RandyJayBraun

    US$4.99–US$114.00

As I crawled from my tent with blurred eyes, I could see that the sun was going to rise perfectly behind Alau Island. This image was unplanned, yet a perfectly wonderful stroke of luck.

  • Bay of wonder
    by Stephen Colquitt

    US$4.99–US$114.00

So this little known place is probably the closest I will ever get to tropical paradise. Its called Wayag, and is a group of Islands off the Western Coast of West Papua in Indonesia. Its quite a story about how I got here (i hope to write it up some time soon), but I want to pay full credits to my friend Simon Mammino for his assistance in getting this shot. Take a bow mate (and now get back to work). Nikon D200 / 10.5mm

  • The Ocean Moves
    by StacyLee

    US$4.99–US$114.00

This piece is the second in my Nautical Series—“the ocean calls” being the first. This is a digital painting done with a Wacom Intuos3 tablet. I used Corel Painter for this entire piece. The bigger this piece gets the more impressionistic it becomes. This was done on purpose. I wanted the ocean’s movement to intertwine with the brush strokes I used. The bigger the print, the better you will be able to see the movement of the strokes and how they correlate to the ocean’s movement. My blog gives step by step instructions on the making of this piece. Blog Website

She was originally named Lydia Liliu Loloku Walania Wewehi Kamaka’eha, Lydia Liliuokalani Paki, and also known as Lydia Kamakaʻeha Paki, with the chosen royal name of Liliʻuokalani. Queen Liliʻuokalani was an accomplished author and songwriter. Her book, Hawaiʻi’s Story by Hawaiʻi’s Queen, gave her view of the history of her country and her overthrow and therefore became the first Native Hawaiian female author. Liliʻuokalani was known for her musical talent. Lili’u is said to have played guitar, piano, organ, ‘ukulele and zither. She also sang alto, performing Hawaiian and English sacred and secular music. She would find herself in music. In her memoirs she wrote: “to compose was as natural to me as to breathe. This gift remains a source of the greatest consolation.” She wrote over 165 songs and chants. Some of her best-known musical compositions include the song, “Aloha ʻOe”, “The Queen’s Jubilee”, “He Mele Lahui Hawai’i”, and “Ku’u Pua I Paoakalani” ~ Source: Wikipedia !!
