  • I wanted to further my original artwork Identity #3. Make is accessible to a wider audience. By wearing a finger print as the logo on the shirt you are reavling your identity as a finger print is unique so are you. The White, Yellow and Black Shirts work the best. I am really happy with the end result. The impasto from my original artwork really gives the shirt a fantastic 3D dimension

  • So we started linoleum printing in art class, and I was satisfied with the result of my prints. I decided with a little tweaking, I’d be able to make a tee for all you dia de los muertos/skull fans out there. I used the linoprint to make an actual tee for myself, so I owe it to all you to share the wealth. / :]

  • So we did linoleum prints in class and I was absolutely inspired to the max. I ended up spending most of today digging in actually, and when I finished… I decided to outline it in highlighter and sharpie once printed, and manipulate the hue in photoshop. Along with some clever repositioning, I used radial symmetry to create this celestial design. / :]

  • Another rendition of the mixed media print I did, tweaked with photo shop this time in the shape of a square if you’d prefer it to the circle design.

I’ve posted a step-by-step look at how this image was made on my blog for those who are curious. Here’s a closeup of the art: / The masked version is also available. / The original art was with brush-pen and Microns on smooth bristol, 17×14” and was then scanned and colored digitally. © 2009 Stephanie Smith
