well, the trip was really great, i found some great locations to take photos at, i think there’s a wide variety of themes i’ll put some of this pictures later but anyways meanwhile, there’s a new picture from the revealed diapositives disaster called La Ultima Mirada http://www.redbubble.com/works/show/67204 so check it out and leave some comments —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- and, yep! no, there’s not one picture sold over here in the bubble, but a gallery in Monterrey has invited me to exhibit two pictures about Homo Sapiens Vs Natura (global warming, etc). You’ll see these two images later that’s good news except for the cost of putting these two pictures in foam my latest dialogue has been: “me estoy hundiendo en la pobreza” lol sorry for been pessimist around this optimist site

A very warm hello to all my watchers, friends, and visitors! I want to let you know how welcomed I felt as I first joined RedBubble not so very long ago… this place instantly felt very friendly and community orientated and I felt right at home. There is a great deal of talent on here and I enjoyed browsing the galleries and leaving many comments and favs. Since I have been here, I too have received MANY very kind and lovely comments as well as favs which I appreciate so incredibly much! Every comment and fav encourages me so much and truly does mean a lot to me! Thank you all so much!! I have immensely enjoyed displaying my photography here and I intend to continue. Now, onto the exciting news…. :D This morning I woke up, logged into RedBubble and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw I had made my very first sale!! Ahhhhhhhhhh! squeals! I sold a card of :: Serene :: / I was shocked and extremely excited at the same time!!!! Thank you so much to who ever you are!! Please do let me know who you are so I may thank you in person!! I appreciate your support so much… this has greatly encouraged me to go on, and continue doing what I love doing best: taking macro photography, specifically liquid macro photography of water drops :) I really hope you enjoy the card! Please tell me how it looks like in card-form when you receive it!! I’ll be very interested to find out! On a side note, perhaps a few of you have noticed, I’m also experimenting with tshirt designs. I currently have two and hope to create more… it’s addicting and a lot of fun! Please let me know what you all think!! :) Finally, a great big thank you to everyone who’s visited my page, you all are super. Thank you RedBubble for this wonderful art website!! Hugs and best wishes, / ~silverdew

I have a couple of calendars available to buy! I’m thrilled with how they have been designed by Redbubble and they look great hanging on the wall. Attractive and practical. Scenes Through a Lens contains a range of my black and white photographs. I tried to tie the images in with the seasons. View a reduced-quality version in PDF. Warm and Blue contains images with orange or yellow and blue tones in them. I noticed that I had a few in this vein and thought they might look good in a calendar. I was out and about the other day, and spotted something from the top of the Gateway Bridge that I wanted to photograph, so I looked for a spot to take the photo I wanted. Needless to say, I couldn’t find a way to frame it, but discovered that the bridge looked pretty interesting against the sky. The new bridge is being built on the other side of the one you can see here….20 years later… The whole point of this ramble is the differences noticeable in my images shot with the polariser I had on my lens. I bought a Singh Ray warming polariser last year, but haven’t used it much because I don’t like being out in the middle of the day. Too hot, and tooooo sunny here in Qld. I used the polariser for this first image, but not turned to it’s correct position. When I checked the image on the back of the camera, I thought it looked dull and lifeless, so I rotated the circular polariser until the sky looked better, and I noticed that the white across the top of the bridge stood out a lot brighter too. Here’s the second shot. Much more vibrant! Doesn’t a polariser make a difference! Polarisers can also be useful for hiding and or enhancing reflections, in water and glass, however they can do nasty things to the sky when used with ultra-wide lenses. They generally work best with skies when you are 90degrees to the sun, I believe. Here’s the final image after some tweaking
