  • Look closely….. —-—-——- This is a composite image, created with a photo I shot while standing atop Warwick Castle, in England. The landscape is from the photo. I then added the turbulent clouds, and the little horse. I then processed the image in a way similar to tilt-shift photography, to give that odd appearance of looking like a train model. I love that look, and I hope you do too!

  • New note 13 October 2009: Got back a few minutes ago from a prize giving for a local photography competition for photos representing “life is always a pleasure in Buffalo City” as I was one of the 13 finalists out of nearly 200 entries – and they chose me as the overall winner! I received a new camera and a R1000 shopping voucher! My boys, then 9 and 10, enjoying a warm evening at the beach in mid autumn, East London, South Africa, 2008, at Gonubie river mouth

  • My boys running into the Gonubie river, East London, South Africa, last year when they were still 9 and 10. / The tide was coming in and they were having fun cooling down after a school day, and before their karate lesson. Autumn is a lovely warm season in South Africa.

  • A squirrel trots along the famed Pre’s Trail in Alton Baker area of Eugene, Oregon. The bark-paved trail was designed by the late Steve Prefontaine and is a busy training path for Oregon runners.

I shall be too late!” Fourth artwork in my new Wonderland series based off of Lewis Carroll’s book “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” In this depiction the white rabbit races against time and against an abstracted background (rabbit holes), his pocket watch on his waistcoat. Original measures 12.5×19 inches, mixed media (oil pastels, colored pencils, metallic paint pen) on light yellow watercolor paper.
