Having an artist networking site like this is so great. Designers/artists are oft isolated souls, working in dusty little industrial-chic garrets, pulling vectors/pushing pixels, sloshing paint or squeezing clay. In my professional work, I usually have an overlord (who is usually an accountant) or a client (who is usually an accountant) stooping behind me, saying things like “it just doesn’t feel right” and we are always subject to their outrageous whims and “minor tweaks”. By the way, the phrase “minor tweaks” is kryptonite to even the most super of designers, when muttered at the wrong time it can reduce us to a shakey souffle of our former selves. But these peer to peer sites give us an opportunity for encouragment and constructive critique. I say “Rock on, Red Bubble! May you never burst”

Given my background in screen printing, I was sceptical about the t-shirt and printing quality. But I just got my first t-shirt in the mail, Peta (my partner) tested a SCREAM DRACULA SCREAM medium girls t-shirt. It was perfect, not plasticky like iron on, it feels like screen printed. The cotton was good quality and fits well. Really good and nice colour reproduction.

Just type Axel Moore into the search engine and you will see the amazing generosity. Or how about the incredible heart that the RB administration have demonstrated by being so supportive of the artists when they want to contribute to us in some way as well as having the pics of Axel and our family on the home page as a tribute. The Red Balloon launch was an resounding success with people all over the world releasing balloons at the same time. Thanks to Paul Louis Villani for this inspired and moving idea.One lady even saw a red balloon floating over south Sydney 30 mins after we released them at the funeral. Thanks for the warm welcome! I am so very excited to be here. This is a safe place to express myself. In the city where I live it seems that no one understands me the artist. But now I finally have home to come to. Not only to show what I’m made of, but to find inspiration in this world. There’s so much beauty here. I’m thankful to be a part of this community. I look forward to the future. So far everyone is just amazing. / My work has been called “dark”, “scary” and lots of other unintelligent words. Hi there anyone who reads this :) I am a new artist here on Red Bubble. Don’t know much about it yet. I was referred here by my cousin. I come from a fairly artistic family. It seems that half of us on my mothers side are interested in the arts. I am particularly interested in making T-shirts. Preferably ones that sell. But I have always like the creativity and wit that goes hand in hand with the T-shirt trade. I hope the designs I create reflect that. Maybe they do, maybe they don’t. It’s fun designing them anyways. I love some good old Aussie slang. That’s why the first designs I have put up on here are Aussie Slang Phrases. I am not all that good at directing traffic on the web though so I’m a bit stumped at how to get my designs in front of peoples eyes. It’s getting to be a massive place the old inty net. Well ‘Such is life’, they say. / (Or was that Ned Kelly as they hung him? 0 / first thanks to all my red bubblers for there awesome comments, / some of the comments were more worthy than the poem LOL / A lot of my poems have been written through experience and some from observation / I have dissected my soul to work out how i tick / and when i tried to work out other people / i found i got to a point where i couldn’t comprehend them at all / it is hard some times to stay true to the self / it’s hard to remember sometimes how strong we are / i was labeled with having bi polar symptoms about ten years ago / i refuse to take the CURE!!!!! LOL / I went Right Brain / Yay what a fun time i had / it is hard to speak about to sometimes because of judgements and people with their ears painted on makes it harder / poetry has been my outlet / i am open for collaboration with anyone who reads a poem and thinks they have a picture for it. I would love it. / I plan on being published one day. / I have little mock books but never get to the end of the book .LOL / I am in awe of the artist ic genius we have amongst our litttle red bubble group / Your guys Rock

I am so excited I have just spent 15 minutes getting into a large parcel that arrived by UPS. Please note I didn’t have to part with any extra money either. The parcel arrived in pristine condition and it was like trying to get into Fort Knox, I pulled and cut and eased and cut some more and unwrapped and pulled and cut and eased even more and finally after casting off reams of red parcel tape and bubble wrap (is there a deliberate connection there? red and bubble LOL) and carefully pealing back the cardboard….................. there they were, 5 beautiful, fantastic, gorgeous matt prints of some of my best work. The quality as always is exceptional and the prints look stunning , they even taped some tags to the packaging incase I want to hang them on the wall. P.S. In case you don’t know if you buy 4 or more prints in the same order POSTAGE IS FREE THANK YOU Redbubble I shall be proud to show people these as examples of my work. I haven’t even taken any photos of them yet as I wanted to share my excitement and tell everyone to buy Matt Prints of your work ….....or even mine would be nice LOL …....nudge, nudge, wink,wink. I will go now and submit some photos in the buyers booth later.
