I just wanted to say a great big THANKS to everyone who’s visited and commented upon my photos, I’ve really appreciated it and feel genuinely encouraged. It’s been a really tough time just recently; my brother-in-law died and I had to take the funeral service in Edinburgh, a week later a good friend died in Plymouth and I had to travel there to take the service, upon return to London we now have living with us my Father-in-law David who’s suffering from bowel cancer, and I’ve just heard last night that my own father back up in Edinburgh is now terminally ill with lung cancer and is being encouraged to go into an hospice. All in all a prety tough time, but I’ve also had real encouragement too, one of the ladies in our Church has just become a Christian after attending church all her life. Praise the Lord! It seems strange that people can go through the motions of practicing the Christian religion for years but never come to the place of receiving the living Lord Jesus and being born of God’s Spirit. It’s like going to the ocean for a swim and only paddling in the shallows. It’s like watching black and white TV when full HD colour is available. It’s like chewing on an un-cooked piece of steak without any teeth. With the Lord Jesus on the inside it makes living the Christian life so much easier. Remember His words; 28 “Come unto me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (ANIV) Trust in Jesus Now!

It has been awhile since we last saw one another. I changed professions of faith and you don’t attend the same church that I do. Are you still suffering from that disfigurement you Acquired? Darn, must be really Horrible. You were Majestically Beautiful, with your Eyes filled with Laughter. / I am sorry to see that you don’t smile much anymore. It must be agony to see others in the world laughing with glee. D id you remember that it is almost Christmas? What do you want for Christmas? Oh, I am so sorry, but you can never get that back. Once you made your misfortunate mistake things will never be the same. Some things just can never go back to the way they were before. Is there anything else that you might desire? What? You say you want the Bride of Christ to burn in hell? Do you really believe that this is such a good thing to ask? Oh, I see. Your anger precedes you. I wish I could say that I agree, but, alas I strongly disagree. For you see, there was a day that your beauty was unmatched by any other. Your laughter lit up the worlds for all to see. But, you arose against the True King of Majesty. The Bride of Christ will never be destroyed by thee. You may cause us suffering we cannot explain. Pain that we cannot endure, but you will never destroy our souls, FOR IN JESUS CHRIST WE LIVE ON FOREVERMORE.

09-02-2009 / (Aussie date convention – day-month-year!) Hi all, just wanted to mark my sense of mourning and sadness at seeing my beloved home state of Victoria go up in flames. As a former Gippsland resident of 23 years, with most of my friends and family residing in the South Gippsland and Latrobe Valley regions, it has been devastating to see whole townships lost, and over one hundred people lost. After a frightening, unprecedented heatwave, and arsonists deliberately lighting fires, the state is in a sense of shock. My thoughts go out to all who have been affected personally by the tragedy, and my commendation to the brave firefighters (including some of my family) who stood strong in the face of incredibly difficult circumstances. You can send messages of support to the firefighters at http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25024926-661,00.html (The Herald Sun website, one of Victoria’s major newspapers). You can contribute to the Red Cross’ bushfire appeal at http://www.redcross.org.au/vic/services_emergencyservices_victorian-bushfires-appeal-2009.htm. The Salvation Army’s call for donations to help those affected by bushfire is at http://www.salvationarmy.org.au/SALV/NEWSRELESE/PC_62629.html. The St Vincent de Paul Society (“Vinnies”) are also taking donations for the bushfire victims http://www.vinnies.org.au/show_appeal.cfm?table=appeals&parentid=0&id=63.
