There is nothing in the world that is more magical than wandering through the undergrowth of a forest on a cold and misty autumnal morning – The wonderful sights of the animals scurrying around; the precious golden leaves crunching under foot, and the mesmorising scent of the wet grass. Various types of waterfowl are the focus on this 2009 calendar. Included in the twelve month collection are the green heron, American white pelican, wood duck drake, cormorant, black-bellied whistling duck, Great egret, ibis, Great blue heron, seagull, yellow-crowned night heron, snowy egret, and the goose. Almost all of these were photographed in my home state of Louisiana.
