  • Birth Of A Goddess by AmandaGWright

Ink and watercolor and chalk on paper.

  • I joined RB in January 08 and at first added large amounts of images. Now it is time to think about trimming this back a bit as I have just too many images and of course most of them never get seen. Few people are going to work their way through more than 1000 images. Well, I say that, but sometimes, it is quite amazing, you can see that someone is having a really good look. I can see the number of views racking up quite rapidly some evenings. On my best day, I clocked up 2500 views in one day. Once again, thank you all for taking the time to view, comment, favourite and place me on your Watchlists. I am continually amazed at the encouragement and friendship that has been shown to me. I have been most heartened by the wonderful support, continual encouragement and freely given help and advice I have received from this wonderful group who use RB. Those of you who know me are aware that I seldom respond with a “Thank You” when you are kind enough to comment on my work. I normally only respond if asked a question or if the response required some more information. I treasure every comment and I have learned a great amount from the RB community. I prefer to spend my time looking at and commenting on the wonderful work I see on RB every day. Of course, with so much wonderful work and so many fantastic artists on RB, we can only scratch the surface. I wish I had more time. I am now (currently) at 130,896 views. As I remove images, the number of views indicated will fall, so this will be the last time I will give a count. Also, as I remove images, those of you who have been kind enough to Favourite the shots will lose them, so I will apologise for that in advance. This process may take some time. I will start by removing the less popular images, ones which have no comments will go first (although if I believe there are any good ones, I may recycle a few). Thank you all, so very much for all your comments and encouragement over the last 12 months, I appreciate you all so very much. Kind regards, / Tom

  • Mark has put the Heart of RB into words! It’s short, to the point, gleaming, and beautiful. / I DONT CARE is worth a few seconds to read, and a lifetime to become. Best, Dayonda

  • Memorial Panel (Fr Charles Donnelly) by Jeffrey Hamilton

This is the whole panel, just completed yesterday (06.01.09) The ventilation panel to an unsigned stained glass window featuring St Charles Borrameo in the Catholic Church at Barmedman, NSW. More than 75% of the original glass was smashed, including the inscription, and the only photograph that could be found was the size of a postage stamp in a local history book. The face took me 5x firings to achieve the depth of tone: you have to kindof creep up on these things, çause once the paint is fired on you can’t take it off!

  • HAPPY EASTER! by Dayonda
