  • NYE Fireworks by SilverSpot

Each NYE Sydney City Council puts on a spectacular fireworks display on the harbour. Around the corner in Manly, the local council arranges for a one barge fireworks display. There are many homes and apartment blocks with harbour views and there are a few parks as well. I’m fortunate to have a relative in one of the homes with a view.

Feel free to check out some of the others… Cheers

  • Bridge Lights by Shaddy

What would New Years Eve celebrations be like in Sydney without a shed-load of fireworks??!! Pretty hard to imagine really. I was lucky enough to have a good vantage point at the Garden Island Naval base looking back down Sydney Harbour. There were a lot of cruise boats blocking the view somewhat but I still took a heck of a lot of photos. The vibrations from the fireworks so strong I could feel them through the shipping container I was sitting on several hundred metres away.
