In the air by Karen Stackpole
I use a Fuji S5600 digital camera and this was hand held. I have cropped about 1/3 to bring subject to the centre as I found it hard to judge exactly where he would appear in the shot when he did speccie stuff like this. It’s my first time doing action stuff like this.

At the Helm by Polly Peacock
This is a picture of me at the helm of our saiboat, while on a return trip from Bermuda to Rock Hall, Maryland in deep indigo waters in the early fall of 1982. I was in my glory, as the picture definitely reflects. For several days dolphins joined us, by playfully diving in and out of the water beside our boat! Two days earlier, we had gone through the infamous Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle is no doubt everything that it is said to be. We were on a 36’ sailboat and battling 10 to 15’ foot seas. We had one member, of our crew of five, who became violently sea sick. Me? I was loving life!! Bring it on!!

About This Group
Welcome to the Group. I hope you will join us.
ONLY 2 IMAGES PER DAY PLEASE
I have just moved the following line up to the top as some folk are missing the point and meaning of the ’ & Activities’ part of the group title…....”There must be somebody or something actually being active. Pics of static situations, however good, will be regretfully rejected.
Here are a few ideas to get you started: rowing, sailing, powerboat racing, swimming, diving & scuba diving, water polo, water skiing, surfing, wind surfing, kite boarding, para-gliding, canoeing & kayaking, white water sports etc.
Special consideration should be given to a pic before submitting it under the ‘activities’ banner. There must be somebody actually being active. Pics of static situations, however good, will be regretfully rejected.
Please submit any other closely related ideas not mentioned above; we like surprises. Lol. Some ideas might be Sail or net makers or fishermen at work. Nature shots (ducks etc) would be inappropriate for submission.
We would only like to see your best photos and paintings each displaying a high degree of creativity.
Please submit clothing ideas.
